About Corminda
Corminda — short for Cordillerans in Mindanao — is more than a name. It is a story of resilience, connection, and shared roots.
Born from the journey of Igorot, Ifugao, Kankanaey, and other Cordilleran peoples who found a new home in Mindanao, Corminda is a digital space dedicated to preserving and celebrating the unique cultural blend of highland and lowland, north and south.
Whether you are a Cordilleran by blood, a Mindanaoan by heart, or simply curious about the rich tapestry of Filipino heritage, Corminda is for you.
Our mission is threefold:
- Connect Cordillerans living in Mindanao and beyond.
- Honor the traditions, language, and identity of the Cordillera region.
- Bridge cultures by fostering understanding between upland and lowland communities in Mindanao.
From storytelling, community events, and heritage features to resources for those tracing their roots across islands, Corminda is where the mountains meet the shores — and where two homes become one.
Corminda: Rooted in the North. Thriving in the South.
